Exodus Stories: Voices from the Caravan is a feature documentary starting the festival circuit that intimately follows the journeys of three immigrants from Honduras and Nicaragua who join the migrant caravans and travel to the United States seeking refuge at a time when asylum is under siege.
The film offers a raw look at the immigration process from the perspective of immigrants and following their travels along the dangerous 2,900 mile through Mexico, then the weeks of waiting at the border to be granted asylum access into the U.S, the detention process, and the challenges of getting legal aid once inside the U.S as they await their final verdict.
